Minions are units of the Order Empire, summoned by the Magikill.

Originally part of the Magikill Empire, Minions appeared in the original Stick War (and Stick War: Legacy) as an instrument of the army. During Stick War II: Order Empire, the Minions were are nowhere to be seen, though they return to the Magikill's arsenal in Stick War III.

History

Stick War

Attack the Magikill

During their first encounter with the Order, Minions were summoned by their masters to hold and overtake the enemy monument. However after some exchange of weaponry, the Magikill were overwhelmed and their statue fell. This crippled the empire, but they weren't gone yet.

Last Stand

After their Order acquired their technologies and ravaged their homefront, the remaining Magikill and their Minions composed themselves into some semblance of a force and helped in an attempt to defeat the Order and get their revenge. However, these forces too were still not enough, and they were killed anyway.

Appearance

Stick War

The Minion is a nondescript stick figure like most units, but is shorter than them. It wields a small pitchfork as a weapon.

Stick War: Legacy and Stick War III

The Minion now wears a skull-like helmet like the one used by the Boss Giant and uses a sword with a jagged blade.

Strengths

The Minion, summoned from the Magikill, costs no gold (or population from Legacy onward). Along with being completely free, the Minion is a somewhat strong offensive unit. The ability to overwhelm single units with sheer numbers is useful, as well as the fact that speed upgrades placed onto your Swordwrath applies to the Minion too.

Minions make Magikill particularly powerful in numbers, as having multiple Magikill means slain Minions can be replaced more quickly to overcome enemies with numbers.

Weaknesses

The Magikill Minion unit is weak in defenses and health, along with losing against any unit in the game. They are the weakest unit in Stick War III, with less health than all units except Bombers and Crawlers while lacking their speed and damage, and less DPS than any unit except the Toxic Dead while lacking its strengths. As such, multiple Magikill are required to put out enough Minions to pose a threat or at least soak damage.

In Stick War Legacy, while the Swordwraths can do the sword jump which does more damage, Magikill Minions can't do the sword jump. In Stick War III, if a Magikill dies, all Minions summoned by the Magikill die as well.
