Shinobi (also known as Stealth) is an ability used by Shadowrath, introduced in Stick War II: Order Empire.

Description[]

Once cast, the Shadowrath becomes invisible and moves 40% slower (at 4.5 speed). While the Shadowrath still has a visible outline during Shinobi, it is immune to all hostile effects.

When the Shadowrath attacks during Shinobi, the invisibility instantly breaks and the attack Poisons the target and deals an additional 25 (+25 vs Unarmoured) damage, increased to 100 (+100 vs Unarmoured) at level 2. Poison from Shinobi deals 8 damage per tick.

Strategy[]

Shinobi allows the Shadowrath to avoid dangerous effects like the stun from a Giant's attack by turning untargetable on demand, while also giving it the means to quickly assassinate key backrow targets. Note, however, that Shinobi does not disjoint Reaper if cast before the Shadowrath turns invisible. The Shinobi 1 upgrade is able to kill Miners and Archidons, and the Shinobi 2 upgrade instantly kills MagikillMedusa and Marrowkai units require one or two basic attacks to finish off the target, however the poison usually kills them anyway.

Scouting on the opposing army is also another useful tactic for Stealth, as a Shadowrath can infiltrate the enemy base without being targeted and attacked. Keep in mind Shadowrath cannot walk past walls while in cloaked form so are not effective counters to Magikill when the opponent is turtling or keeping Magikill behind walls.
